Description
The Provost’s Undergraduate Research Fund supports research and creative scholarship by Brandeis University undergraduates during the summer and academic year. Administered through the Undergraduate Research and Creative Collaborations Office (URCC), it supports all disciplines, including creative arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and interdisciplinary projects. Summer fellowships enable intensive faculty-mentored work and participation in the university’s community of undergraduate researchers.
During the academic year, separate funding opportunities reimburse expenses for senior theses and non-thesis research or creative projects. Conference presentation grants help students share accepted research or creative work at academic or professional disciplinary conferences. Summer fellows also share their work through an end-of-summer project summary and a presentation to the Brandeis community at the URCC Symposium.
