Description
This opportunity offers a two-week artist residency at Women’s Studio Workshop (WSW) in Rosendale, NY, for the creation of a large-scale public mural. The selected artist will design and install an original mural on WSW’s prominent exterior wall, which faces the heavily trafficked Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and overlooks an ADA-accessible patio. The completed mural will remain on display for one year, serving as a focal point for both the WSW community and thousands of trail users each month. The residency is designed to foster public engagement with contemporary mural art and to support the visibility and professional development of artists working in this medium.
