Description
The Public Assistance program, administered by the New Hampshire Department of Safety / Homeland Security & Emergency Management in partnership with FEMA, provides federal disaster grant support to eligible government entities and certain private nonprofit organizations following a Presidential disaster declaration. The program accelerates response and recovery efforts after major disasters or emergencies by offering supplemental federal funding for debris removal, emergency protective measures, and the repair, replacement, or restoration of public infrastructure and specific nonprofit facilities.
