Description
Funded by IOP Publishing and run by the Institute of Physics (IOP), the Public Engagement Grant Scheme supports the IOP’s Limit Less initiative. It funds physics-based activities that bring young people together with parents, carers, or other family members and make physics feel more relatable and welcoming.
The scheme prioritises families with children under 16 who are girls or young women, disabled, LGBT+, from disadvantaged backgrounds, or Black Caribbean. Projects might showcase relatable physicists, challenge stereotypes, or share positive messages about physics and its impact on society. IOP looks for meaningful engagement, sound public engagement practice, and positive impacts connected to Limit Less.
