This program provides financial assistance to help offset City-related costs for public events that enrich community life in Santa Cruz. The City of Santa Cruz recognizes the value of public gatherings in fostering social cohesion, economic vitality, and community pride. Grants are available to both organizations and individuals for events held on public property within city limits, including festivals, fairs, races, and other public celebrations. Funding is intended to encourage a diverse range of events that benefit local residents and contribute positively to the city’s culture and well-being.
