The Public Policy Fellowship Program is a prestigious, nine-month, full-time fellowship based in Washington, D.C., designed for recent college graduates passionate about public policy and advancing the Latino community. Fellows gain hands-on experience through placements in congressional offices, federal agencies, national nonprofits, or the private sector. The program features weekly leadership development sessions rooted in CHCI’s four Pillars of Leadership, offering culturally relevant training, professional networking, and opportunities to analyze and propose solutions to policy challenges affecting the Latino community. Fellows also complete community service, publish an issue brief, and participate in major events such as Hispanic Heritage Month.
