The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Public Policy Fellowship Program is a prestigious, nine-month paid opportunity for recent college graduates passionate about public policy and advancing the Latino community. Fellows are placed in congressional offices, federal agencies, advocacy organizations, and the private sector in Washington, D.C., where they gain hands-on experience and develop their leadership skills. Weekly leadership development sessions are built around CHCI’s four Pillars of Leadership, offering culturally relevant and timely programming. Fellows engage in policy work, community service, and professional networking, culminating in the publication of a policy issue brief. The program aims to cultivate the next generation of Latino leaders by providing real-world experience and a robust professional network.
