Description
Mayo Clinic’s Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship in Rochester, Minnesota, combines clinical, didactic, and investigative training tailored to physicians’ career goals. Fellows care for patients with diverse pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses, receive extensive bronchoscopy and procedural training, and pursue laboratory-based, translational, clinical, outcomes, or educational research. Community, clinical educator, and physician-scientist pathways support preparation for community practice, medical education, or research-intensive academic careers.
The program develops skills in scientific writing, presentations, research protocols, grant proposals, and quality improvement. Fellows can take master’s-level classes through the Center for Clinical and Translational Science.
