Description
The Pulp Biology and Regeneration Group of IADR sponsors two student travel awards associated with pre-doctoral and post-doctoral research. The awards recognize work presented at the IADR General Session & Exhibition that advances understanding of pulp biology and regeneration. A group committee judges abstracts for rigor, originality and impact on the field.
Recognized research has addressed injured dental pulp cells, tooth sensory innervation, regenerative endodontics, immune cells in healthy dental pulp, and dentin-pulp repair. Recipients are notified before the meeting and announced at the group’s business meeting. The 2027 General Session will take place June 23–26 in Melbourne, Australia.
