Description
The QJMAM Fund for Applied Mathematics, administered by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), provides financial support to advance UK research in applied mathematics and theoretical mechanics. The fund offers grants for organizing conferences and workshops, supporting conference travel, enabling collaborative research visits, and fostering academic–industrial collaborations. Emphasis is placed on activities that enhance the visibility and participation of UK-based researchers, especially early career researchers and PhD students, and that promote new interactions and collaborations. Successful applicants are expected to report outcomes, ideally including submissions to the Quarterly Journal of Mechanics and Applied Mathematics (QJMAM).
