Description
Qualcomm Research established its European Innovation Fellowship in 2012 to encourage student-led research and collaboration between universities and Qualcomm’s corporate research center. Students from invited European universities compete in a single competition. Winning students are assigned Qualcomm researchers as mentors.
The 2026 finalists’ proposals span security and privacy, artificial intelligence, and robotics, including post-quantum cryptography, hardware leakage, reasoning models, and robotic control. Proposals outside listed areas are also welcome. The fellowship supports pure research; ideas do not need a business plan or a connection to Qualcomm products.
