Description
Sponsored by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., the Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship India supports student-led research at participating Indian institutes. Teams propose an innovation, explain its relationship to the state of the art, and set out a one-year project horizon. Master’s and Ph.D. students may draw on ongoing or planned research or thesis work, in accordance with university policies.
Faculty advisors guide the research, while Qualcomm researchers mentor winning teams and provide opportunities for interaction with Qualcomm Research. Qualcomm researchers review applications and select finalists to present to a judging panel. The 2026 program planned awards for at least twelve teams, with winning projects eligible for consideration for renewed support after a project presentation the following year.
