Description
The Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development's State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) maintains lists of consultants qualified to work on historic preservation projects funded with state or federal funds. These lists cover several fields, including Archaeology, Architectural History, Engineering, Historic Architecture, Historic Landscape Architecture, and History. To be included, professionals must meet the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualifications Standards. The lists are intended as a resource for locating qualified consultants but do not constitute certification or endorsement by SHPO. Consultants may request to be added by submitting documentation of their qualifications and relevant work samples.
