The Quality of Life Lectureship, established by the Oncology Nursing Foundation, is presented annually at the ONS Congress®. The award honors a distinguished expert whose work has advanced the understanding and care of the psychosocial dimensions of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. The selected honoree delivers a keynote lecture to an audience of over a thousand oncology professionals, focusing on quality of life and psychosocial care in oncology. This lectureship, formerly known as the Mara Mogensen Flaherty Memorial Lecture, is the Foundation’s longest-running program initiative.
