Description
This grant provides project-based support to emerging individual artists and unincorporated artist collectives working in any artistic discipline who are based in Queens, New York. The funding is intended for the creation of new work that has not been previously produced or presented, with a required public component that must take place in Queens and be accessible to the community, either in-person, virtually (with a live component), or as a hybrid. The program prioritizes projects that foster cultural access, diversity, and community engagement, and encourages artist-driven, collaborative, and community-focused initiatives.
