Description
This grant supports emerging individual artists and unincorporated artist collectives based in Queens, New York, across all artistic disciplines, to create new work that has not previously been produced or presented. Projects must include a public component—such as an exhibition, performance, festival, screening, reading, or workshop—taking place in Queens during the calendar year. The initiative aims to foster local artistic production that reflects and engages the borough’s diverse communities, with a strong emphasis on creativity, artistic merit, community engagement, and project feasibility. Priority is given to projects providing cultural access for under-resourced communities and those reflecting the diversity of Queens.
