Description
This fellowship, administered by Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), is designed to support U.S. professional journalists who work for small news organizations with a significant rural audience, as well as freelancers serving rural communities. The fellowship provides access to the IRE Data Journalism Bootcamp, an intensive training program focused on data journalism and investigative skills. Selected fellows receive a one-year IRE membership or renewal and coverage of the Bootcamp registration fee. The program aims to strengthen rural journalism by equipping reporters with advanced data skills and professional development opportunities.
