Description
Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) offers a range of fellowships and scholarships designed to help journalists, educators, and students develop investigative reporting skills. These opportunities provide support such as complimentary registration for IRE conferences (including AccessFest, NICAR, and the annual IRE Conference), a one-year IRE membership, and, for some programs, travel and lodging or cash awards. Specialized fellowships target various backgrounds and reporting interests, with options for early-career journalists, educators, journalists of color, those from small or rural news organizations, and more. Some programs require separate applications.
