The four-year Radiation Oncology Residency at Mayo Clinic's Jacksonville, Florida campus is designed to comprehensively train physicians in all aspects of radiation oncology. The program integrates photon and proton therapy, didactic and hands-on experiences, and dedicated research opportunities. Residents benefit from individualized rotations, robust clinical and educational resources, and opportunities for teaching and research presentations at national and international meetings. The program emphasizes compassionate patient care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and personal and professional growth. Upon completion, graduates are eligible for board certification by the American Board of Radiology and are prepared for careers in private practice, academia, or further fellowship training.
