The RAEng/Leverhulme Trust Research Fellowships are designed to support academics in engineering disciplines by providing the opportunity to focus on full-time research, free from teaching and administrative duties, for up to one year. The fellowship funds the salary of a replacement academic who assumes the awardee’s non-research responsibilities, enabling the awardee to pursue new research directions, reinvigorate ongoing projects, or enhance their research profile. The scheme also offers access to the Awardee Excellence Community for networking and professional development, and provides additional mentoring support for underrepresented groups in engineering.
