The RANZCOG QLD State Committee Research Grant supports research in obstetrics and gynaecology in Queensland and promotes academia as a career pathway. Funding is provided by the College’s QLD State Committee and administered through the RANZCOG Women’s Health Foundation. The award is intended for registered and financial FRANZCOG trainees and early-career RANZCOG Fellows who reside in Queensland.
Research must take place in a Queensland hospital, university department or research institute. The program links support for a research project with encouragement of an academic career. Applications are assessed by the RANZCOG Research Grants Committee, and an award depends on both the application and research project being judged sufficiently high quality for funding.
