The Wings to Fly Travel Grant is administered by the Raptor Research Foundation (RRF) to help raptor researchers and conservationists traveling from outside the United States and Canada participate in its annual meeting. The program supports conference attendance and presentation of a paper or poster, with assistance for travel and living expenses, waived conference registration, and a one-year RRF membership.
The grant connects participation in the meeting with recipients’ professional development and raptor conservation work in their home countries. Past recipients have presented research on threats to vulture populations, raptor–powerline conflicts, lead exposure in condors, eagle dispersal and survival, temperature-related changes in kestrel reproduction, and population viability analysis for Bearded Vulture conservation.
