Description
RCSA Fellows is a multi-year professional development initiative run by Research Corporation for Science Advancement. It supports outstanding postdoctoral scholars as they prepare for faculty searches, interview for positions, and enter their first year as independent tenure-track faculty at U.S. and Canadian institutions of higher education. The program seeks to strengthen a faculty community bringing varied perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds to teaching and research in the physical sciences.
Fellows receive mock interview preparation, guidance throughout the job search, and support for faculty responsibilities beyond research. A cohort community provides opportunities for mentorship, skill building, and mutual support. The program aims to prepare participants to thrive as innovative research scientists, teachers, and mentors, with time commitments carefully considered to avoid impeding their current postdoctoral productivity and success.
