Description
The REACH Fellowship is an annual, competitive program run by REACH Hirschsprung Disease. Established in 2023, it gives an early-career pediatric surgeon or pediatric gastroenterologist with an interest in Hirschsprung disease the opportunity to visit a host institution for three to five days. The visit focuses on learning best practices in diagnosing and treating the disease.
The program aims to attract new talent to Hirschsprung disease research, diagnosis, and treatment around the world. Through on-site learning and professional exchange, it promotes knowledge sharing among clinicians with a special interest in the disease, creates networking opportunities, and encourages collaboration and cooperative research. Funding supports travel, accommodation, and meals associated with the visit.
