Description
The Reach-the-World Award is offered by the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) to help clinicians and scientists from developing countries attend the ISTH 2027 Congress in Vancouver. The Congress Scientific Committee rewards abstracts of outstanding quality by providing travel assistance to their presenting authors. Reach-the-World is one of two travel award categories available in limited numbers for the 2027 meeting.
The award subsidizes travel to and from the Congress, rather than funding the research described in an abstract. It is intended for presenting authors from or practicing in countries classified as low income, lower-middle income, or upper-middle income. Selection connects recognition of high-quality scientific contributions with support for attending and presenting at the Congress in person.
