    Description

The Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe (REACT-EU) programme provides substantial support for investment projects that enhance crisis-repair capacities and contribute to a green, digital, and resilient economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic. It is designed as a bridge between emergency crisis-response measures and the EU’s long-term recovery plans, supporting job maintenance, job creation, youth employment, healthcare systems, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). REACT-EU acts as a top-up to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and European Social Fund (ESF) allocations for 2014–2020, with implementation extended to the end of 2023. Funding is delivered through shared management, with national and regional authorities responsible for calls and project selection.
