Description
Rhode Island College’s Real Skills for Youth program offers structured, paid internships in technology fields. Participants apply classroom learning to real-world projects while exploring cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and computer science. Career coaching, financial literacy, workplace-readiness training, and connections with employers and mentors complement the internships.
The opportunity is part of Real Skills for Youth, a PrepareRI initiative supported by the Governor’s Workforce Board within the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training. Across the state, the program brings together schools, youth-serving organizations, employers, and other partners to help young people prepare for college and careers through career exposure and work-based learning.
