Description
This opportunity supports investigator-initiated research with the potential to advance the field of reconstructive transplantation, improve patient care, and/or enhance quality of life—particularly for military service members, veterans recovering from traumatic injury, and related communities. Projects may span basic, translational, preclinical, and clinical research (excluding clinical trials), and must demonstrate a strong scientific rationale, robust study design, and clear military relevance. Applications should include relevant preliminary or published data and address at least one of the program’s annual focus areas. Collaboration with military researchers is encouraged but not required.
