Description
This grant program funds local nonprofits, small businesses, community groups, and individuals to deliver innovative, culturally relevant, and free recreation programs or events within City of Seattle Parks and Recreation community centers, parks, or facilities. The initiative is designed to reduce barriers to participation and ensure equitable access for priority populations, including people of color, Indigenous communities, immigrants and refugees, persons with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and intergenerational groups. Programs must be accessible to all and focus on neighborhoods facing health and enrichment disparities.
