Description
This program, administered by the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR), provides funding to develop, construct, maintain, and repair roads, bridges, and parking areas within and leading to parks and recreation areas throughout Idaho. Funded by a portion of the state gas tax, the program aims to ensure safe, functional, and well-maintained access infrastructure to enhance outdoor recreation opportunities for all users. Projects may include upgrades, repairs, or new construction of transportation infrastructure that directly benefits public access to recreational sites.
