Description
The Catalyst Pilot Research Award from the Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) provides short-term funding to initiate innovative cancer research projects or sustain previously funded lines of investigation. The goal is to help researchers generate foundational data for future peer-reviewed applications or provide gap funding for exceptional projects or new research directions. All areas of cancer research are encouraged, including prevention, early detection, basic, translational, and clinical research. Projects are expected to yield significant new insights into the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of cancer.
