Description
Recruitment of Rising Stars is part of the Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Academic Research program. It supports the recruitment to Texas of outstanding mid-stage investigators who have demonstrated promise for continued and enhanced contributions to cancer research.
The program aims to strengthen Texas cancer research by bringing in investigators positioned to build on that promise. Its focus is the investigator’s potential for further contributions, rather than a particular cancer topic or research method.
