Description
CalRecycle administers this Cycle 3 incentive program for fiscal year 2026–27 under SB 1013 and Public Resources Code Section 14543. It funds projects that demonstrate the ability to expand furnace-ready glass cullet processing in California, with the goal of increasing recycled glass used to manufacture new glass beverage containers within the state.
The program is open to qualifying private for-profit and nonprofit processors. Supported activities can include processing equipment, project-related software and supplies, facility renovations connected to equipment installation or retrofitting, personnel, and employee training. Projects must document their California locations and demonstrate additional cullet processed as a result of the grant within 12 months of receiving funding.
