Description
The Redding Rancheria Community Fund, administered through the Community Foundation of the North State, supports worthy causes in communities surrounding the Rancheria. The Redding Rancheria is a federally recognized Tribe whose members are of Pit River, Yana, and Wintu descent. Contributions to the fund come primarily from Win-River Casino, which the Rancheria owns and operates.
The fund supports organizations and projects serving Shasta and/or Trinity counties and encourages proposals benefiting Native Americans, youth, and rural populations. Grants provide general support, excluding personnel costs, and may support capital improvements and renovations, equipment, programs, and services. Eligible applicants include public charities, public entities, and fiscally sponsored projects or programs.
