    Description

The American Heart Association, Studio Red, and the Go Red for Women Fund support late-stage scientific and clinical innovation addressing conditions that disproportionately, differently, or distinctly affect women. The program aims to close knowledge and care gaps through translational research with a feasible path to implementation, scalability, and commercialization—not basic research or drug development.

Priority areas are cardio-oncology diagnostics, risk stratification and interventional devices; early detection of atrial fibrillation in women; and circadian science technologies addressing sleep, mental health, or environmental factors. Approaches may include digital health tools, differential diagnostics, predictive analytics, devices, bioelectric medicine, and innovative care delivery models. Projects should produce evidence within 12–18 months that enables commercialization work toward market-facing products or services. Cross-disciplinary collaborations and community-engaged approaches are strongly encouraged.
