Region 2 Arts Council’s Season/Series Arts Support Grant funds the creation, production, and presentation of multiple arts activities through a single application. It serves organizations delivering substantial arts programming for residents of Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, and Mahnomen counties. Funding comes from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through a legislative appropriation.
Supported programming includes festivals, public art, exhibitions, readings, demonstrations, performances, workshops, artists-in-residence, educational arts trips, and guest artists, authors, performers, or culture bearers. Proposals must develop new or expanded programming. The program emphasizes removing participation barriers, developing arts knowledge and skills across ages, representing Minnesota’s diverse cultural traditions, and building connections through arts and culture.
