Description

This grant aims to enhance and enrich the physical and athletic experiences of students in all schools within the Region One School District of Connecticut. Funding is available for a wide range of initiatives that promote physical achievement and the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, endurance, ambition, discipline, and fair play. Eligible programs include, but are not limited to, special coaching, summer training or camp programs, transportation to competitions or training, movement or master classes, coach training, equipment and uniform purchases, and facility improvements. The fund is designed to supplement existing local, state, and federal funding, ensuring students of all ages and grades in the district have opportunities to achieve at the highest level in athletics.
