Description
The Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) is coordinated by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) with conservation partners, including the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. NRCS co-invests in projects that address natural-resource concerns on farms, in watersheds, and across regions through innovative solutions with measurable outcomes.
The Tennessee–Kentucky project focuses on restoring native grasslands, shrublands, and wet meadows while improving livestock grazing. Its habitat work is intended to benefit northern bobwhite quail, eastern meadowlark, and Henslow’s sparrow. Conservation professionals and partner biologists can also advise private landowners on wildlife habitat enhancement and land-management plans.
