Description
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) runs the Regional Everyone Outdoors Grant Program to connect the region’s residents with natural resources and outdoor community programming. The program emphasizes engaging people living in low-income and high-density neighborhoods, including individuals who otherwise lack easy access to or awareness of local parks and outdoor recreational opportunities.
Supported projects include environmental education, additional staff time for existing outdoor programs, outdoor equipment for public use, and supplies to improve neighborhood gathering spaces. The CFO also welcomes innovative outdoor community placemaking ideas. Applicants describe how their work will help residents connect meaningfully with community parks and other natural outdoor resources.
