    Description

The Regional Studies Association (RSA) Policy Expo Grant Scheme supports teams addressing important, current issues affecting society. Expos investigate how regional studies, regional science, urban studies and related fields can respond to new societal challenges and opportunities. The programme seeks creative, ambitious approaches that connect research evidence to policy needs, reaching academic, policy and practitioner communities and showing how evidence can inform policy change.

Each Expo produces an article for Regional Studies, Regional Science and a policy-facing book in the Regional Studies Policy Impact series. Books must be accessible to policymakers and practitioners, with an executive summary highlighting policy implications. Projects are expected to establish clear policy questions, synthesise evidence and engage relevant communities. RSA supports publication and dissemination through launches, webinars, its publication platforms and distribution to members and policy audiences.
