Description
This registration call enables research institutes funded by the STIPINST scheme to register doctoral students for 2026, with a focus on mathematical, natural, and technical (MNT) subjects. The initiative, established by Norway’s Ministry of Education and Research, aims to leverage the expertise and supervisory capacity of the institute sector in doctoral education. Funding is allocated approximately every three years, supporting doctoral fellows through salary and operating funds. Only institutes that have received a letter of commitment from the Research Council of Norway are eligible to register doctoral students through this process.
