Description
The American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) offers the Regular Member Fellowships to support up to eleven scholars each year for a full nine-month academic year of study and research in Greece. These fellowships enable recipients to engage deeply with the academic resources, archaeological sites, and scholarly community of the ASCSA. The awards are determined through a competitive process involving anonymous qualifying examinations and evaluation of submitted application materials. Some fellowships are designated for specific fields such as archaeology, history, or literature, while others are unrestricted or have preferred areas of study. The support package includes a stipend, room and board at Loring Hall, and a waiver of School fees, allowing scholars to participate fully in the academic life of the School.
