Description
The Nestlé Foundation’s Regular Research Grant (RRG) supports complete research projects with clear public health relevance in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Its focus is maternal, child, and adolescent nutrition, including growth and early development, nutrient deficiencies, breastfeeding, complementary feeding, nutrition education, and interactions between infection and nutrition. The Foundation also considers emerging approaches such as gut health, precision nutrition, and functional foods when they fit its nutrition priorities.
The program aims to produce practical, sustainable improvements in nutrition and health while strengthening local scientific capacity. Projects should integrate training, mentorship, and human resource development. The RRG sits within a modular approach that can take research from smaller training or pilot studies to a complete research program.
