Description
The Rehab Accessibility Program (RAP), administered by the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA), provides grants for renovations to properties occupied by lower-income North Dakotans with physical disabilities. The program focuses on physical housing changes that address accessibility, rather than general renovation work.
Qualifying improvements include installing ramps, door levers, walk-in or roll-in showers, and grab bars, as well as widening doorways. These modifications address access through entrances and doorways and the use of showers and bathroom fixtures. RAP directs rehabilitation support toward accessibility improvements in the housing where eligible households live.
