Description
This program, delivered by the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, is designed for leaders and professionals in the arts, heritage, and creative industries who wish to deepen their understanding of cultural policy and drive systemic change. Participants will engage in critical analysis of policy foundations, systemic inequities, and the challenges facing cultural governance at local, national, and international levels. The curriculum emphasizes collaborative approaches between Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders, equipping participants to advocate for and implement more inclusive, equitable, and responsive cultural policy frameworks. The intensive, week-long residency features seminars, workshops, case studies, and peer learning, all set in an immersive campus environment.
