Description
The Renewable Energy Program (REP) provides financial assistance through grants and loans to promote the use of alternative energy in Pennsylvania, with a focus on geothermal and wind energy projects. The program is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) in partnership with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and overseen by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). REP supports a range of activities, including the development, manufacturing, generation, and distribution of geothermal and wind energy, as well as planning and feasibility studies.
