Description
The Renewable Resource Grant and Loan Program (RRGL) provides competitive grants to support the conservation, management, development, and preservation of Montana's renewable resources. Administered by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC), the program funds a range of public facility and natural resource projects, including drinking water, wastewater, solid waste infrastructure, irrigation rehabilitation, dam repair, soil and water conservation, renewable energy, and stream restoration. Projects must demonstrate measurable benefits to renewable resources (such as water, soil, vegetation, or energy) and provide clear public benefits (e.g., public health, safety, economic, or recreational).
