Description
This limited competition opportunity from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) supports the renewal of existing NINDS-funded clinical trial cooperative agreement (U01) awards that require additional time and resources to complete the active trial. The program is designed to ensure that ongoing, meritorious clinical trials can be completed as originally proposed, without introducing new aims or major changes in scope.
Applicants must request only the time and funding necessary to complete the originally approved trial. Applications proposing new aims or significant changes in scope will be considered out of scope and will not be reviewed.
