Description
This opportunity invites nonprofit organizations to administer the Renters Safe Housing Incentive (RSHI) Program, offering comprehensive case management and program delivery for renters affected by Hurricane Ida in Dutchess, Nassau, Orange, Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties, New York. Funded by Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR), the program aims to support disaster-impacted renters through outreach, eligibility review, case management, housing inspections, counseling, award calculation, disbursement, and compliance reporting. The program is designed to facilitate access to disaster recovery funds and ensure safe, stable housing for vulnerable renter populations.
