Description
The Replogle traveling fellowship, administered by the Thoracic Surgery Foundation for Research and Education, supports continuing education for young faculty surgeons and residents committed to treating congenital heart disease in neonates, infants, children, and adults. It funds travel to another institution to learn a novel technique, adapt innovative technology, and/or foster collaboration between surgical investigators.
The fellowship connects learning at a host institution with the advancement of congenital heart surgery at the recipient’s home institution. It supports travel and living expenses during the educational experience. Successful applicants have demonstrated excellence in training and academic achievement and secured a position at an institution capable of supporting their continued growth in congenital heart surgery.
