Description
This program from Coefficient Giving solicits expressions of interest (EOIs) for projects that address the governance of transformative AI, with the goal of reducing the likelihood and severity of catastrophic risks posed by advanced AI systems. The fund supports a broad array of proposal types, including research projects, policy development, legal frameworks, training or mentorship programs, general organizational support, and other initiatives that contribute to AI risk mitigation. Projects should aim to provide strategic clarity, develop actionable policy options, advance legal and regulatory frameworks, or improve understanding and coordination around AI governance. The program is open to work across six main subject areas: technical AI governance, policy development, frontier company policy, international AI governance, law, and strategic analysis and threat modeling.
