Description
The Histiocytosis Association invites scientific research proposals focused on the causes, mechanisms, and improved treatments for histiocytic disorders. This annual funding opportunity encourages studies on disease pathogenesis, immune cell biology, cytokine function, rare subtypes (such as juvenile xanthogranuloma, Erdheim-Chester disease, and Rosai-Dorfman disease), adult presentations, biomarker discovery, and quality of life or survivorship. Proposals are evaluated for scientific merit, feasibility, and relevance—especially patient-centeredness—with the aim of advancing knowledge and care in the field of histiocytosis.
