The American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) Research Awards are designed to promote and support the research of early-career academic scientists in mass spectrometry. Each year, three awards of $35,000 are presented to eligible faculty at North American universities to help launch or enhance their independent research programs in the field of mass spectrometry. The awards are funded by Bruker, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Waters Corporation, but the selection process is managed independently by ASMS.
